This is part of our Hedgerow and Wood Pasture project, aiming to improve our local hedgerows for more carbon capture and more biodiversity in our local landscape. We've got loads of whips to get in the ground, so please come and help out and join in the fun!
When: Saturday 19 February, 10am to 3pm or Sunday 20th February
Where: Please see the featured map for the planting site (X marks the spot, with the black lines showing the line of the hedge we'll be planting), which is close to the Corfe GP surgery.
Parking: is available next to the GP surgery off West Street (you'll need to pay for a ticket) or in the National Trust car park under the castle. If you are approaching from the GP surgery, take the gate on the corner of the car park, cross the field, another gate, then the little bridge and turn left. We will be easy to spot!
Please wear: suitable outdoor clothing and bring a picnic lunch and drinks. If you have one, please bring a spade. We'll be making a brew on-site, so please also bring a mug and a spoon!
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO HIGH WINDS THIS WEEKEND
