The first-ever Planet Purbeck Festival is taking place this September 20-26th 2021

The theme is “A Celebration Of Our Natural World” and each event supported this goal by educating, enthusing and connecting people with their local environment. We have over 200 events hosted by the best sustainable businesses, organisations and venues from all across Purbeck. Activities range from nature walks and workshops to inspirational talks on community projects and the science behind our environmental crisis.

Many local people recognise that our natural assets are under threat and something needs to be done. We approach this problem by creating a fun and enthusiastic platform that invites the community to connect with their environment and foster a relationship with it; the more we care about our world; the more we will protect it.
