Join Mark Warn, Forestry England Wildlife Ranger, for a guided Safari to learn about the magical Sika Deer, with the Sika Rut (mating season) underway you'll become immersed in this special time of year.

You'll also learn about all the wonderful wildlife conservation work Forestry England carry out across the Isle of Purbeck.

Essential information

  • We will be walking a distance of up to 4.5km
  • May not be suitable for those with restricted mobility
  • Please dress for the great British weather - this event takes place outdoors
  • Sturdy footwear - boots or wellies are essential
  • Bring binoculars if you can!
  • Bring your own snacks & water bottle
  • No toilets available
  • Not suited to dogs
