At the Mowlem Festival Hub, the Amphibian and Reptile Conservation display will showcase the work we do and provide information about amphibians, reptiles and their conservation for a younger audience.
Amphibian and Reptile Conservation conserves amphibians and reptiles, and the habitats on which they depend, to protect them for future generations. As a small charity with 30 staff, we own 24 sites, manage 80 sites, and work with around 1,000 volunteers each year through opportunities that enhance their lives. Perhaps the jewel in the crown are our dry-lowland heath nature reserves which provide amazing habitat for all manner of wildlife including our wonderful native reptile species, all 6 of which can be found on the Purbecks.
