The image & the video here have been chosen to set the tone for our local Open Homes events.
Dorset Climate Action Network (DCAN) coordinates the Dorset Greener Homes events to showcase ideas for greener living. For two weekends annually there’s an opportunity to visit homes - plus gardens, allotments, churches, schools, village halls - venues where steps have been taken to save energy & avoid using fossil fuels as well as to promote biodiversity.
This is all part of 'the green journey' & achieving 'a lighter footprint' so ties in well with Planet Purbeck's focus on nature recovery for the benefit of people & nature.
These events are held across 2 w/ends:
23rd & 24th Sept
30th Sept & 1st Oct
