Tea, cake and allotments! - Langton Planet Action

23 September 2021
3:00 pm
to
6:00 pm

Langton Matravers Allotment Association - offering Tea and Cake at The Priddle.

We would like to welcome you to our Allotments to see what we grow, how we grow it and what we are doing to mitigate the Climate and Ecological Emergency.  We are a friendly group who enjoy growing our own food and sharing surplus with the Community.  We have community raised beds which include 2 for St Georges Pre-school, a compost toilet, a communal shed and tools and an area for BBQ’s and Open Days etc.

This will offer the opportunity to see how a local community can grow their own food and to find out about different growing methods, such as trying to grow naturally without use of harmful chemicals.

There will be a demonstration of the functions of a compost toilet and trying out push mowers.

TEA and CAKES will be served
